I can't prove it to me true or false. But I am empathetic, it the way where I can see and feel someone's soul. I can't prove it with data on a electronic device, but it is proven to me with experience

@Wyldxflower Please excuse me, but I am having difficulty understanding your response. If I understand you correctly, you are saying that because you are empathetic (as nearly all of us are) you can “see and feel” the presence of a soul? Whether or not you can demonstrate this on any electronic device is beside the question. What matters are the observables: empirical observations that support your supposition. What is your evidence?

Further, you want to know what my answers are. Would it surprise you that I claim no authority on the subject of souls? The point here is not to provide a new theory on the properties of the soul, but rather to expose the weaknesses in the evidence for such.

Animals have social groups, personality traits, mating rituals, etc as well. How can we say humans are the only one with souls? If so, we do not respect the fact that we are the only ones to have one. We destroy the earth, consume to devastation and try to figure ways to create synthetic things we've destroyed or recreate it in some way. No appreciation. The birds appreciate the sky. The spirit of the bird is instinctive, the frightening part (I think) is that its song can touch our spirit, that it brings out feelings of that don't properly belong to it, and it is perhaps why we take their behavior as 'divinations'.

A triangle is a concept, a virtual ideal. Do you think a triangle is a form of objective virtual reality, one that we construct out of our experiences? Say compared to St. George's dragon which we also construct out of our experience. Where is the difference, maybe in the rigor of the definition of a triangle compared to that of a dragon. Or is there something beyond, that, maybe a dragon is an impossible creature? But a triangle found in nature is also never perfect, it is a semblance.

@cava Abstractions can be useful representatives of composite aspects of reality, or they can be entirely fanciful. Triangles and other polygons are useful abstractions that help us understand reality. Souls and spirits are fanciful constructs with no clear definition and no antecedents in experienced reality. Their appeal lies in the fact that they conform to our wishes / hopes / desires for immortality.
