Opinion is irrelevant.

Unless it is based upon knowledge or evidence it is a smokescreen for one’s ego

It depends on who's opinion and what they are speaking about. If a professional gives you their opinion in the field that they have been schooled/trained in and have worked in, then that opinion has more value than the opinion of some random person on the internet.

Unless you are a doctor or a scientist in the medical field, your opinions about the spread of Covid 19 are worthless (for example).

An opinion is not right or wrong... but based on who is giving that opinion, it can be more accurate than other opinions.

Sometimes it is just hormones.
