I’ve been on dating sites where some of the women characterize themselves as free thinkers and then under religious affiliation they say Baptist. Ummm.
When I was a teenager my very Baptist father told me that I didn’t have to believe what the preacher said, that I could believe anything I wanted to believe.
There are shades of grey.
Hmm. "Free thinkers". Hmm. Perhaps they really mean that they are free from the ability to think.
If anybody tries to pull that sort of stunt on me they very soon get a sharp kick in the grey cell.
I think a lot of singles don't know the meaning of "free thinker" or even "agnostic" so maybe don't take characterizations of themselves to literally. Many women like to think for themselves on many issues, outside of religion, and that's likely what she means.
Maybe they don't charge any money, when they do the thinking for you, before they tell you what to do.
It may be a small difference, because in my experience, most women are willing to tell men what they should do for free, but they don't usually promise to think first.
