Colleges do not pay taxes on tuition and income tax yet recieve massive amount of taxpayers money!! And yall bitch about churches that don't even get taxpayers money lol ...
Hey, guys. I guess there is no reason for your argument. We'd better focus on not being victims but on improving our lives. It's always been the best option, actually. We discussed it last Friday with my friend who works at Greedy Rates. Eventually, we concluded that it would be more productive to focus on what you can do with your life but not on the conditions you can't change. There's such an ideology called stoicism. I'd highly recommend you to read its main ideas. Wish you all the best, folks.
Well regardless of the claims this isn't actually an anti-tax loophole forum. It's an agnostics forum which also has a bunch of atheists. We call out preferential treatment of orgs purely because they are religious. There is absolutely no requirement to fix every unconstitutional tax loophole before we fix some or even one.
Did you reference a link that supports the factual claim made in your first sentence because I don't see one.
And the factual claim in your second sentence is also false.
Let me guess: "y'all" didn't do very well at school.
Yes, he's clearly not a proponent of education.
@LovinLarge I'm all for education, but what they teach in schools isnt education
@LovinLarge the first rule of Dunning-Krueger Club is you don't know you're in Dunning-Krueger Club.
Churches should pay taxes. They are brainwashers. It's child abuse to indoctrinate kids into what is basically a cult. Churches have issues with the other type of child abuse too. Abuse from an authority figure is very damaging.
Public Universities shouldn't. What would be the point? They would get the taxes back to help fund the school.
Public universities indoctrinate lazy dependent people on the government.
@Rich177 That wasn't my experience. I did internships in IT, one at an IBM research lab in Toronto and I worked on a consulting gig in Alaska. It was easy for me to get a job. There was nothing lazy or dependent about it.
@shockwaverider when u get old you gonna be on social security
@Rich177 What's your point? I paid into SS for decades, I'll get less back than I put in.
@shockwaverider its welfare. School taught you to be an employee working for the rich.
Public colleges (and public K-12 schools) ARE the government !
Private colleges do pay taxes. Public universities don’t. Either way, universities provide a service: education. Churches provide indoctrination into magical thinking.
Yet colleges do something good for society, where churches do nothing but tell lies and abuse children. Your argument is full of holes!
