Companies with ties to the Trump family will receive up to $21 million in Paycheck Protection Program loans, meant to help struggling small businesses weather the pandemic. Among the Trump-linked businesses that will receive taxpayer money:

— Three companies partly owned or operated by associates or family members of Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law

— The dental practice of a frequent Mar-a-Lago golfer and friend of the president

— The Manhattan law firm of Trump’s longtime lawyer Marc Kasowitz, who has previously bragged that he makes up to $30 million a year

— A hospital run by a close friend and business partner of Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani

Meanwhile, experts estimate that 90 percent of small businesses owned by people of color and women were shut out of the program. Trump’s family members, friends, and associates are all getting rich off the taxpayer dime while the rest of the country suffers. It’s crony capitalism at its worst.
