Just curious what subject is more favorable.
I can’t choose between them...they are equally interesting and important in my opinion.
Maths, because it is not possible to understand any other subject, especially philosophy and psychology, without a deep knowledge of maths, it is the key to understanding.
PS. I am no good at it.
I'm pretty sure that you're right; math is the key to everything else. For what it's worth, I also happen to think that math is beautiful.
I am also not particularly good at it. I envy those for whom it comes easily.
@AmyTheBruce That's exactly how I feel.
Whilst roaming at an art fair I spotted a womans' T-shirt "I'm an English Major -- YOU do the Math ! "
@FearlessFly Ok here's a controversial one. The biggest enemy of wisdom and understanding after apathy, is not stupidity but pseudo-education. Or to use some old maths, the set of those who have Majors, and the set of those who never learned anything useful, have a large overlap.
Psychology works for me because it's humans who usually interpret philosophy.
Like em both, but having to chose one I'd say philosophy for it's range of subjects and through it you will still sometimes lurk into psychology territory
