I'm curious how others feel when they see (or hear about) families with children visiting topless/nude beach... Natural and normal? Potentially problematic? Inherently irresponsible? Do you believe the range of acceptability is age based - as it pertains to the children, of course. ?
I have a friend who described being taken to a nude beach by her parents when she was 13. Not my story to tell, but it wasn’t a good experience for her. Nudity can be beautiful and/or terrifying. Without informed consent — not asked for or granted in this case — it is terrifying at best.
I'm not sure that I agree with taking children to a nudist camp, resort, beach etc but I do think it's important to teach kids that nudity is natural and we should cultivate body love not shame.
As others have said, I would rather my children be exposed to loving relationships than violence.
