The tragedy in Oklahoma City was the result of 2 tons of ammonium nitrate. In Beirut there were 2750 tons. The result was an explosion 1/ 16th the magnitude of Hiroshima.

Any sane society should demand regulations regarding the location and amount of storage of this volatile substance.

This article has a thorough explanation of what caused the explosion and why no preventive measures were taken. Careless disregard.

The US instituted regulatory changes in 2015 after the Texas tragedy. Someone on my Facebook page said trump rolled back the safeguards but I can't find a direct reference to that act. It does sound like something he would do though.

Trump of course made a statement that it was a bombing. WTF with this guy going off half cocked with no credible info? It's not just some random on Facebook. This was a public statement by the President of the United States. Amazing

Fortunately the rest of the world knows he's usually wrong or lying so no one bombed someone in retribution.

Lora, I think you might to recheck. I think its reversed. I think Hiroshima was 16 times greater than Beirut explosion.

True she can. I do it all the time. I do most of my posting from my phone. Often autocorrect or just oversight I often miss mistakes. I catch after somebody responds, "What......?". Lol

I use my phone almost exclusively for posting on this site. I am also a voice texter so I am sure you will see many more like this and some even worse.
