Simple answers that are true...

Complexity and truth are two different qualities, which do not relate to one another.

That's why the modern common misunderstanding of Occam's razor is false, though the original was useful. Quality of evidence needs to be considered as well as quantity.

But at the same time it is generally better to hold something to be true, if it is supported by multiple sources of evidence, rather than one, if the evidence is all of the same quality.
