Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Where Trump made his first mistake in this whole line of errors, was he did not go to the commemoration for the marines that died in Belleau Wood. That battle was a great victory for the US Marines, and stands as a marker for the beginning of the modern Marine Corps. The Marines, and I think especially Gen. Mattis, took this as an insult. All the insulting chatter that has come out in the Atlantic article does, is throw salt into the wound.
