All our fruit trees were bare this year. I think it was the late frost. Usually I'm stuffing myself with apricots, plums, peaches, and nectarines, but nothing this year. Getting lots of tomatoes, peppers, squash from the garden, but missing the rock fruit. Maybe next year will be better. I sure hope so!

Same here on the Blue Ridge (of VA)... Three late, killing freezes, leaving no Asian or European pears, no oriental plums, or apples.. But like you, the vegetable garden’s come through … as I can hardly eat or give produce away fast enough 🙂

Gardeners just have to learn to go with the flow I think. But that is the best thing about growing a big range, not only is it more fun, but you are much less likely to lose everything.
