@Redneckliberal I don't see any neck support for the baby, the baby seems in stand position from what I see and my worry is the baby will be knocked about as mom walks.

@TimeOutForMe yes...a doctor friend told me that when tied to the mothers back the Childs vision didn't develop as well....who knew!

@Redneckliberal I was told this when I was at school. They would say the reason why the Natives didn't cross the road the way we do, is because..... and then it would be as a result of the baby being carried on the back.

@TimeOutForMe Have lived in Spain since 1989. However, I am third generation Kenyan and left there after 47 years. Are you still in RSA?

@Petter yes still in SA. I've travelled and seen other countries but this is home. more than three generations. I don't however rule out leaving to go to another country but like I've said on here recently, I'm past my sell-by date for a work permit and would need the bucks to start a business to relocate at my age

@TimeOutForMe That was why I left a lucrative job in Kenya. I had been telling the company I needed to leave for some dozen years, but each time they simply gave me more money and perks to retain me.
However, I realised that if I remained until I was over 50, I would become trapped in Kenya, so the next time my contract was due for renewal I turned down another fantastic offer and left anyway. It was made easier by the money I had saved thanks to their efforts to keep me!

@TimeOutForMe I have many ex Kenya friends in England, with whom I like to meet up when travelling. Many are Sikhs, and so they know the best places to get decent samosas and good curries. The last place I went to was actually an Afghani restaurant in Coventry, with superbly spiced food.

@TimeOutForMe all babies are innocent but religion brands us all "sinners" needing religious repairs ... hiding our Atheism and coddling believers is keeping children in the dark .... our Atheism and Feminism are our birthrightS ..... I escaped religious evils through NEGATIVE REinforcement ... not wanting to be a believer and struggling to be an Atheist like Walt Disney and Albert Einstein....nature films and the mathematics gawd = zero
