Kicked off the day celebrating the start of a 12 day staycation before starting a new job on the 21st by baking myself a blueberry pie. I've had pie for breakfast, midday snack, and late night snack. I heart pie.
Tonight, my son came home from his dad's with a bag full of fresh peaches from their tree. Can you guess what we'll be having tomorrow?
Yum...blueberry or peach...all good!
Agreed!
Peachie pie! Wonderful. Is this your second "new job" since the start of last year? I wish you the best of luck with it.
I was going to suggest you also make a casserole with peaches, but I see @FrayedBear has beaten me to it.
Haha, yes, it is. Though when you say it sounds like I am flighty, even though it's more job changes than I have made in the prior 12 years! When my Doc retired unexpectedly last year, this is the job I wanted, I just had to wait for the timing to be right. The other was merely to keep the lights on in the meantime. I will say the changes have brought with them a 50% increase in pay, so I suspect I will be with this one for quite some time! Thank you for the wishes of luck, but in my field I (and my patients) are better served if I rely on my skills.

Blueberry pie 'cos it needs finishing. A year or two ago I reciped fresh sweet peach with fried pork loin chops - delicious. "Food Glorious Food"
A very quick simple recipe as is my taste." but also just do a "peach" search of "Food Glorious Food" there is a raft of recipes from members for peaches.
Sweet and savory! I dig it, and should have enough peaches to allow for both a cobbler and chops. Thank you for the inspiration.
