Kayleigh McEnany: “He has said before that it keeps him up at night thinking of even one life lost. This president has taken this incredibly seriously. What he’s done is, he’s worked harder. Each and every day he works hard, puts his head down, and I think that’s very evident in the administration’s historic response.”
Trump taking this seriously and working hard “each and every day”:
It’s been telling ..watching his spokespeople burnout and fade away … as if there’s a human limit to lying.. So yah, there he is - deep inside his war-room bunker - fighting this pandemic like the ‘war’ he declared on it … not
The only recognition this clown will receive is Worst President in US history
We progressives find any and every reason to criticize Trump. Trump is bad and I want him gone but know it is a historical fact that Obama played more golf in the first 4 years than Trump did.
That is why Democrats complaining and accusations against Trump don't ever stick.
And just think Obama didn't have a pandemic to contend with.
Obama vs. Trump: Golf by the numbers
Obama played 98 rounds of golf through this point in his presidency, according to data provided to CNN by Mark Knoller, a veteran CBS News White House correspondent who is known for tracking presidential activities. By contrast, Knoller said, Trump has spent all or part of 248 days at a golf course.
CNN's own count has Trump at 266 days spending some time at a Trump golf course.
Since Trump and his aides often refuse to confirm that he actually played golf during a visit to a golf club, even when he has been spotted in golf attire, it is not possible to definitively say how many times Trump has golfed as President. And some of Trump's rounds, like when he plays with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, mix leisure with official business.
Regardless, it is clear that Trump has spent more time golfing than Obama. And Trump's own golf-related "carbon footprint" has been bigger than Obama's even if you count only air travel.
Through this point in his first presidential term, Obama had made three vacation trips to his birth state of Hawaii for a total of 29,978 miles in the air, Knoller tweeted, while Trump has made 30 trips to Palm Beach, Florida, the home of Mar-a-Lago, for a total of 51,540 miles.
Obama played 333 rounds during his eight years as president, according to Knoller. In other words, Obama played golf once every 8.77 days as president. Trump, conversely, has been at a golf club once every 4.92 days so far.
There is no consistency in these reported numbers. Every news media reports biased numbers.
Why is golf bad and how is it different from watching a movie or playing basketball the indoor court at WH? Golf is not a rich man's game any more. Each side does not see any vices on the own side. That continues.
The rise of Trump, the Senate majority, losing elections at every level (school, local, state, federal), rush appointment to replace RBG, the onslaught of abortion laws in states, the funding of religion with taxpayer money..... is this all Republican's fault? They are doing what their agenda is. In fact it is commendable that they are delivering to their voters. Our own leaders don't have the balls to do that.
The tragedy is our Democratic leaders are old, lousy, losers and ineffective. Our own leaders do not deliver like Republican leaders do to their voters. You do not see anything bad about ineffective Pelosi, Bernie and other old wood that have been letting us down and would never retire after 40 years in Congress? When you continue to lose battles and wars, who do you blame? The enemy or own lousy generals?
This platform of progressives has become a whining and bashing platform, nothing constructive to contribute. I think making calls to own leaders and asking them to either retire or do something or get the fuck out should our message - instead of spending time in posting in Trump Piñata day in and day out.
I would like to know how proud we are of own leaders and how? Why are we quiet?
