But he's covered with cartoons!!! Kids love cartoons!!!
Teacher says his tattoos and surgically blackened eyes cost him his kindergarten job.
Sylvain Hellaine said "He hoped to show his pupils that they should accept people who are different from the norm. “Maybe when they are adults they will be less racist and less homophobic and more open-minded,”
Looks like his message needs to be understood by a lot of the respondents here.
‘His message’ is likely the result of his condition, I’d guess, “Histrionic personality disorder (HPD) is defined by the American Psychiatric Association as a personality disorder characterized by a pattern of excessive attention-seeking behaviors, usually beginning in early childhood, including inappropriate seduction and an excessive need for approval.”
@Varn irrespective of the reason he makes and proves the point.
I am not into tattoos and I have a heavily tattooed assistant. Not as heavily as this bloke. I would imagine it is the eyes that affect people more than the tattoos. Children will actually accept him for the person he acts rather than how he looks. If he started getting them due to an existential crisis I would suggest sorting out that issue just for his own mental health. As long as his teaching is up to spec then I don't see what the problem is. We went through this issue when people of different backgrounds (in many different countries) started teaching (at my school we had a parent refuse to have their child taught by a teacher who came from the Phillipines), when openly gay people started teaching, when men started teaching in government primary schools ("they were obviously only there to groom children and were pedophiles" ) The list of people who shocked others when they dared to teach in primary schools is long and we got past it and children learned and were not harmed in the process. The students will adapt (which after all is something that we are trying to encourage in them) I would suggest that before he teaches in a kindergarten that the children get to meet him in a less formal setting to help them. One were he shows his funny, smiley face not the scary one shown in the photo. If he was able to do the job I would work with him.
I love tats even have had bf's that had their peckers tattooed
its a little extreme but it would be good for kids t teach kids not to judge by looks
You just have to admire people with opinions so strong they tattoo them on their face. I kind of get art, but like a swastika on the face is seriously a bad judgment indicator.
I can't imagine a whole lot of jobs where this wouldn't be considered an unprofessional appearance.
I mean, yes, the right to look how you want, but people may choose not to employ you if you don't look the part.
Looks like he’s going for a movie role, and he’d even be limited in that
I met a prisoner who got his eyes tattooed in prison with ball point pen ink. One blue and one red.
Yeah he was seriously mentally ill too...
I don't see this guy teaching kids how to read and write, I see him officiating over a black mass while hanging from meat hooks thru his flesh.
Don't judge a book, I guess.
Not sure about this. The problem is, teaching kindergarten is very influential. I don’t want kids having nightmares and not wanting to go to school.
I’m not sure if they would. The connotations of the eyes and tatts are largely created for adult theatre. But you would have to wonder why it’s a look he’s so into.
Plus it would definitely concern the parents, who pay for kindy, am guessing.
