I hate when people are mean to others if they’re having a bad day. When I’m feeling awful, I make it a point to be EXTRA friendly & kind cause I’ve had others treat me so badly for that reason. The “golden rule” we learned in 3rd grade doesn’t apply to some people.

It’s great being self aware and able to prevent your emotions choose your behaviour, many never consider it. For me it’s sometimes a challenge. But I don’t think the golden rule works; people want different things

I'm with you, two reasons, just because I'm feeling like crap I see no reason I should make others feel the same and secondly, I like to get my own way and I've never noticed that people are more inclined to help if you treat them like shit.

Try working in retail like at a gas station there are ass holes that do that every day. The holes see the employees as thing and not people based on there judge book by its cover ideals. I may be mad at world sometimes, but not stupid enough to take it out on a stranger trying to do there job.

@VeronicaAnn o sorry my bad. I totally agree with your post.

You're right, because some people didn't make it to third grade; others just don't like themselves so they deflect those feelings to others...lol
