Age does not automatically confer wisdom on a person. There are many old fools and no doubt they are to be found in low and high places.
I believe the saying goes, "There's no fool like an old fool".
Another saying goes, “Young people do nothing that’s foolish.” That’s because everything they do is foolish and the word is undefined.
