I fear that this will happen. I hope I'm wrong. In 2016, nobody entertained the possibility that the polls were way off. I think everybody secretly thinks Trump will still win. I hope not. We shall see.

That's my fear as well. The republicans are cheating hard to win, and could just tip the scales in favor of Trump. It's all about the electoral college.
