Here's something fun to test yourself. Knowing what's in the bible makes for a better, more informed atheist. How well do you know the bble? Take this quiz and see how familiar you are with the nonsense in scriptures -- [mp3.com]

The questions they ask at the start are really basic but they get a bit tougher as it goes on. The quiz seems to be endless so just quit when you've had enough. I did.

It was like taking a 1st grade "tell me the color" test. I wonder how the average zeolot that I deal with online would do?

Score: 100%

NAILED IT! KEEP GOING!

Correct Answer: Jesus

I answered Jesus because it was the most correct, however the really correct answer is: Matthew 1:23
“Behold, a virgin shall be with child and shall bring forth a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel” (which being interpreted is, “God with us&rdquo😉.

The test is giving improper questions/answers.

One bad question... I would have to go back to get exact statement but it references "principles " the gives "10 commandments " as answer. I clicked "covenant " because that is a principle of an agreement like a contract.

The 10 commandments are not principles they are laws of the government of the nation of Israel at the time.

The question is misleading otherwise I would have 100%.

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ANSWERED 98% CORRECTLY!

You are ranked:

Genius

76%... Most of the questions people learn as a so...

I got 88% but I was more than half way through before I realized it was using the Douay Rheims Roman Catholic translation of the Bible for questions about the number of books in each testament and the number of (supposed) authors, plus there are couple of questions that are simply wrong.

I ranked Genius; which is why I don't believe the bible is the word of any god 🙂.

Only 82% . Must do better.

More nonbelievers know more bibly information than believers. On YouTube, there is a version in which both yes and no answers can be backed up by biblical scriptures. One says one thing, when another says the opposite.

Did this out of boredom and it called me a genius. I don't think so coz a genius comes out of a bottle.

I’ve alway felt I’m a ‘better Atheist’ by ignoring such things as a ‘bible.’ My children, too. No need to clutter your mind with nonsense. But do follow, analyze, and appreciate the verifiable aspects of existence. And if called upon to explain them to religious wanders, have that capability.

Took the test. My score: "CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ANSWERED 90% CORRECTLY!
You are ranked: Genius"

I think the rankings should be of a more religious theme -- from worst to best: Heathen, Xian-Curious, Xian, Evangelist, Apostle. So at 90% you'd be in Apostle class. Congratulations!

@Sgt_Spanky I had religion drummed into my head from childhood, as part of my brainwashing. It's amazing how much of it is still hiding in corners of my mind, after all these decades of atheism.

You cannot score more than 90% on this test it cheats, at least two questions are wrong and two will only accept the Douay Rheims Roman Catholic bible answers.

I think it is useful to know a good amount about the history of the three Abrahamic faiths. I remember once discussing religion with some trumploids.

I said that basically, Judaism is monotheism 1.0., Christianity is 2.0, and Islam is 3.0. Each builds on the one prior. You'd have thought I called their mama's ugly. It was quite interesting, though. They had no idea that the Torah is basically the old testament, or for example that Jesus is in the Quran.

As I put it to one of the especially testy ones: "You purport to be a Christian. It comes with an instruction manual, the bible. You might try reading it." I also pointed out that had he been born in Medina, he'd swear that Islam was the way. (He was an American born Christian.)

Religious people are so touchy.

Well since it is nonsense to begin with, It’s not worth my time.

As I’ve pointed out many times on here, I went to parochial school for 7 years, had religious instruction for 2 years following my exit from that, and I attended Catholic Church for 18 years. I remember many elements of mass, “The Our Father”.......”The Hail Mary”.....”The profession of faith”.......”Holy Communion” I can go on. That was enough for me alone......after 18 years it was just enough

But it took 9 years after that to completely disown it and say I was a full blown atheist.

I feel ya. I spent my childhood and far into my late teens buried deep in its bullsh-t too.

I got like 30 in a row, I missed 40 day fast after Jesus was buried. I'm like the least religious person in the world but I've been exposed to this bullshit.

@Green_Soldier71 If their were such a place, I'd want to go to hell because all my friends would be there. The oxygen will leave my brain...fade to black.

I think they transmit the results directly to God so he now knows who we are but he probably thinks we're believers bcuz we got so many questions right. We may have just saved ourselves form Hell.
