Snubbing Europe's leaders and showing a huge disrespect for the blood that was spilt by Canadian, European and US soldiers on the beaches of Normandy. Trump has no interest in showing respect for the common bond that was formed between Europe and America. A bond formed with the sacrifice of human life. A bond formed to free the world from Fascism, and sacrifices made to give us the freedoms we still enjoy 75 years later. If Trump has no respect for this, why would his supporters show respect for the sacrifices made. When Hillary said they were a basket of deplorables she was not insulting them. She was understating what they stood for.

Those unfortunate people had two brutal dictators fighting over their land. What terrible situation they were in.
My family fled from Hungary to escape Russian revenge. They were ethnic Germans. They immigrated here to the states to put an ocean between them and the Soviets.

Absolutely. My grandmother knew people who were sent to gulags and never heard from again.
