For generations, community groups like the Boy Scouts of America have been open and vocal about only allowing heterosexual, Christian members.
Do you feel like if Athiests had the same type of public group, it would be received with as much public positivity as these existing organizations? If so, why aren’t there any??

The difference is that christianity PROMOTES discrimination.

I don't think so. Be non-religious still seems to be a taboo. But if there was one, I would hope it would be received with open arms. We need it in this world.

Atheists, agnostics and free thinkers are most often rejected by their societies because they don't conform to social expectations. Even though participation in organized religion is declining, the vast majority of people believe in some kind of deity. A substantial minority of those people are very threatened by people who don't need what they believe in and try to force conformity. The efforts by the religious right to claim that their rights to practice their religion are violated when other people have basic rights are along this vein. In their minds, their religion entitles them or compels them to attack those who don't conform to their ideas of a righteous person.

Atheism and anything having to do with Atheism is not, and may never be, received with any positivity by the general public.

The Boy Scouts are letting girls in now because interest has waned in this high tech age. Don't think enough non-believers to build such an organization.
