Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Edward Bulwer Lytton, was a brilliant novelist and short story writer, now largely forgotten sadly.
However stories such as "The Haunter and the Haunted" establish him as the father of the modern ghost story, and novels such as "the coming race" establish him likewise as an early master of speculative science fiction on a par with Jules Verne and HG Wells.
