I know there is a secular org in Denver, and I want to get more involved there. However, I really want to start an atheist humanist group in Littleton/Englewood CO, just outside of Denver, when I have time after I graduate in 4 weeks. Anyone in the area who wants to help with this, please contact me.

As a native Portlander, I was active in two atheist organizations in the 80’s & 90’s. Seems as though we led the charge for Portland, if not Oregon’s advancement!

The open hostility from all those ‘loving christians’ was near deadly..
In the end, we had one major benefactor who (will always remain a hero to me) kept us afloat. It’s like, if you’re successful, folks move on to other pursuits - in safety, which is great. Portland, and Oregon both went progressive, and we helped
