No need to judge things that you
have not experienced or things that you have
not educated yourself on.
I was in a JW christian cult, that I have experienced
and that I can judge for myself.
I can’t judge your post because I have not
educated myself on this.

Physical beings, plants and inanimate objects all give off energy. Try reading Let There Be Light by Stephen J Hage and Real Magic by Dean Radin. Witches worship and revere nature. Inanimate objects can absorb and retain residual energy from physical beings that have come in contact with it.
Most of what you listed in your post is ludicrous and a mockery of witches and their craft. Their beliefs in dragons, crystals and the like are not literal. It's the same concept as Satanists. Most people believe that Satanists worship and act under the guise of a literal Satan. They do not. They don't believe in Satan in a literal sense. Satanists worship the carnal nature of humans. Our carnal nature is their Satan. Their rituals including black mass is to make a mockery of the Christian religion.
Witches use their own intent, blood, herbs and inanimate objects in their rituals for various reasons. People who don't understand witchcraft dismiss it because of fear of the unknown. It's easy to dismiss a belief system if you have zero contact or experience with it.
I have Christian's, atheists, agnostic and witches in my family. We coexist quite well because we respect each others belief systems even if we don't necessarily agree with them. I do have to say that my atheist and witch family members are more likely to give a helping hand to those in need.....without being judgemental.

I'm married to one and know many, and depending on which path they follow, they would either agree with you or laugh at you.
Much of what you are stating comes from new age revivalist get rich quick books.
"Witch" like "Satanic" or "oculist" or "Mystic" is a catch all term for a dozen or more different things, systems, or doctrines.
Getting five "witches" to agree on anything is like trying to herd cats, much as is the case with any five Christians or religious people of any "faith".

So YOU agree that there are real witches right?

@jigsaw of course there are, but the existence of witches in no way indicates the reality of magic.
If acknowledge the historical existence of St. Bernadette it does not mean I think Lourdes is a place of genuine miracles.
My wife's druidic witchcraft is more about living in harmony with nature, the earth, food as medicine and contributing to the overall positivity of attitudes and actions by humankind as a whole.

@LenHazell53 That makes sense. Never looked at it that way.

So this is all part of a belief system so, I believe I don't care. 🙄

@jigsaw And exactly when did I say that you did? I read your post I found it somewhat interesting but I gave you my opinion and that's it.

@oldFloyd When I read it last night I WAS DRUNK so I got up and checked my computer and i read some of my posts and I realized I made some mistakes! Sorry about that! I had 10 budlight platinums. Sorry!

@oldFloyd I just deleted my mistake!

@jigsaw Well, I have never drank too much,🤔 least in the last seven years. N P. 😁

I knew a woman that claimed to be a witch. She married a friend of mine. In fact, he was my best friend at the time. That was many years ago and they are long divorced. I wish she was still around my area today. 🙂

I am an atheist, my fiance is a Hereditary witch of at least 5 generations. I do not believe in magic at all, but I do consider my fiance to be a "witch" as she truely does believe in magic and it is part of her heritage. She does not make a big deal about it at all. She does nothing showy at all. She believes magic is hereditary and thinks nothing more of it than a family that tends to have red hair. It is just a part of her. We often have interesting conversations when I ask her about it. Otherwise it is rarely even mentioned. She by defintion is an atheist as she does not necessarily believe in "gods". I accept her beliiefs and she accepts that I do not belive in gods or magic. It is not a problem for us. Though she is a heretary witch by the definitions here there are some elements that she does believe in and others she does not. I do not only know a witch, I am marrying one!

Congratulations, I wish you both many happy years.
