I remember first hearing this favorite when I was 6 to 8 years old, in my parent's basement in Louisville.

It was my top favorite of my parent's record collection, then we moved and I never heard it again, except as it would bubble up in my memory over the years.

Tonight it bubbled up again and, after singing it quietly off and on for about an hour, I wondered if it might be on YouTube... yep

The first album l ever owned, my father brought it home from the radio station, was the Fleetwoods. This song was on there. Thanks for the memory.

My dad played it for me out of his collection of 45s that he bought with his paper route money as a kid. That would have been before I started high school. I have heard it off and on since on numerous oldies radio stations.
