I'm not sure the side trying to bring this to violence is really in any fighting shape. They are just old, angry, and a bit nutty. Right now I think it is mostly bullshit posturing. Lone wolf and small domestic terrorist attacks are probably going to become more frequent. The new new normal.

In my state of Oklahoma there are many young and fit idiots that will probably act out. Both fortunately and unfortunately they're not the smartest people in the room.
Nobody knows the future but it's certainly not looking great. Even without an actual Civil War we are not attending to a sinking ship so I'm thinking that we will merely fade into being a former power, like Rome or England did. Another nation which wasted its wealth on weapons and champagne.

I hope not as we are mean sons a bitches when we get our dander up. The Civil War was bloody and solved almost nothing.

@Wildgreens I find myself at a real loss to understand this situation. Why would anyone want to fight and die for a cause that is full of lies and corruption. There is no winning as there will be no winning any war fought for this reason. Many will die and the hospitals will really have a problem if they have to take care of even more people. Please explain why this is a thing that should happen?

@Wildgreens Not an actual war between the states. It's a philosophical divide that exist already. The right is filled with so much animosity. You saw what happened this summer. We will have massive civil unrest. Biden won't be able to unite the country. Trump has enough surrogates, even if he died tomorrow it will continue.
