Tennessee pastor doesn't think Covid-19 is for real. So he tells his flock not to heed the advice of scientific authorities. He represents, to them, the word of God.

Religion has caused so much pain and suffering to humanity over the course of history. Looks like its time has come to go into the dust bin of history. The only trouble is it'll take another generator or two. It's time to grow out of the Dark Ages.

The man is a raving megalomaniac.

You know, when your faith can be deadly, maybe we should sit back and let them? It's sort of like the witch trials...proving your faith has deadly consequences.

I saw that report.
That guy is a fucking asshole.
Just because he insists on remaining an ignorant pos, he shouldn't have any right to influence others.
He's dangerous, and those who follow him are stupid.

Religion kills.

The sheep will always be blind followers.......they know nothing else.

Ignorance is bliss.

From what I recall. The exception to the 1st amendment is that it does not give you the right to shout "fire" in a crowded theatre. Nowhere in the bible does it say that COVID or any other disease is not real. So the pastor is not protected by religious freedom. He should be prosecuted for criminal libel.
