I think Twitter's ban is acknowledging that Trump is no longer either an asset or a threat to them. They are throwing some hand wringing to appear virtuous but the real message is simply,"Fuck you, you're old news"
A sad reality in the minds of rethugs. At the same time, they want private companies to have the right to not serve gays, etc for religious reasons.
