Trump's use of the presidential pardon power has revealed a flaw in the Constitution. An unethical/criminal president can commit unlimited crimes either himself or through his cohorts and then simply pardon their illegal behavior. The pardon power needs to be amended so the president's pardon powers are not effective for crimes which benefited the president. Apparently, some recipients of trump's pardons - Mike Flynn and Roger Stone amoung them - have some connection to organizing the Jan. 6 riots at the Capital. Their pardons apparently enboldened them to commit more crimes.

Thankfully he won't be able to pardon people for crimes they haven't been tried for yet.
Also I think there are a lot of States just waiting for him to get out of office. That's going to be FUN! He can't pardon himself from State crimes only Federal ones. (New York is just one state filing). 
Actions have consequences.
