If you mean did they emerge from human nature, then yes.

If you mean are they at odds with human nature, then yes.

If you mean is it a good thing that they are at odds with human nature, then no.

That’s an interesting analysis, @Fernapple, and the question certainly needed analysis.

Thinking on it reminded me of the two GIGOs, one of them for garbage in garbage out, and the other for garbage in gospel out. Xianity has given us too much of both.
