They walked out on him because the lawyers wanted to talk about the constitutionality of impeaching a president who's no longer in office. Trump wanted to talk about election fraud.

This is actually good for him. Now he doesn't have to waste money on a legal team he doesn't need. The Senate already told us they will not convict.

He wants them to use the defense that the election was stolen. He wants to stir up the right even more. He knows that he will get 45 votes and he doesn't really care to defend himself. He wants to push another insurrection March 4th, the original swear in date before it was changed to January 20th in 1937. That's why they all stepped down. He wants to tear this country apart.
