The Republicans have no ideas. Cheating and insurrection is all they have left in their bag.

Much blood was shed during Europe’s religious wars.

America’s religious war is coming and will be fought by voters, mainly in GOP-controlled states.

A result may be that the voters in more states will add the direct initiative, referendum and recall to their constitutions.

It's a hideous irony of the 2020 US Presidential Election, I guess, that there really is actually a terrible problem with the US voting system, but it comes from being undermined not by the left, but by the right, largely through their voter suppression tactics.

This particular election was the one where the right chose to amplify their complaints about the supposed undermining from the left (the false claims of vote fraud) as a smokescreen to cover up their own attempt to steal the election, and now that this attempt failed, they are still continuing the complaint (maybe a problem with lying is you have to keep it up?) while they return to fighting hard against the right to vote.

All of this depends on voters who are unable to tell the difference between claims of vote fraud and claims of voter suppression. The disgusting Republican anti-voting-rights tactics would not work nearly as well if they took place in a system where the voters themselves start getting smarter.
