How does an individual ever effect positive change in their society if it would need to originate in government, a policy idea? If you had an idea and say felt it could, if implemented, be a major force for positive change, how would you make it happen? I don't know if the idea would fall under Dem or Rep, say it meet a societal need and could potentiallt fall under either, how does it get brought to life? What are the steps?

Occasionally someone who works at becoming a helpful well-known local person can actually initiate some change. Getting anything done above the local level you have to be an individual with money and power.

There's nothing you can do. You just got go about your business. Delusion lead to frustration. It's not worth the trouble.
