Quarter is totally shut down. It's a strange sight.

They're doing stationary parades with drive-by viewers and people are decorating their homes. I'm giving them an a for effort.

too bad

The parade was cancelled due to Covid. It's 12°F and wind chills of below zero so it wouldn't have worked out too well anyway. I went to Mardi Gras 2007, it was cold, like 40° and windy, they said it was the worst weather ever. They didn't realize how cold it could get down there.
