Well all, I done went and done it. I made it to see 48 today (4/15), 5 years ago the people closest to me didn't think I would make it one year, let alone to see this day. See, I use to be a pretty good high functioning alcoholic, I would drink a box(12) of 40 oz. Busch Lights during the work day and after work it would be a 30 pack and a bottle of Grey Goose...everyday.
That's enough to kill most, but thanks to genetics and a dying promise to my now passed on mother of 4 years past, I've been dry and all bodily organs are working like a swiss clock, never to return to that lifestyle.
Just figured I would share a piece of my personal life with everyone on this day.
So remember, SMILE MORE...ITS CONTAGIOUS.

Congratulations my friend. And kudos for taking responsibility for both extremes of your lifestyle habits.
It infuriates me to no end when people give all the credit to God for cleaning up and submit all internal strength to a third party.
