This post has to do with the economics of war. In the War in Irag, there was a company called Halliburton. Halliburton made 39.5 million dollars from the Iraqi war. What some don'r know is the Bush had a large bunch of stock from Haliburton. So, it seems, fraud and underhanded dealings do exist in some administrations. However, I think all will some find out that 45 has this more than mastered to an art. I hope he leaves and wanders looking for hell, for after all 45 is the Antichrist and there is no Hell.
If there was such a thing as a party of devils the republicans could claim the honor without a problem. They have worked against the people for years and they are the ones who profit most from war.
I agree. They are so money hungry, they have no hearts.
Cheney was the CEO of Halliburton.
Did he not give that up to be in Whitehouse? Seems to me I just saw something very criminal about Cheney recently? Like he is in prison? I should have listened better.
He was CEO before becoming VP and stepped down while in the WH.
Cheney was big in war profiteering. Selling food to the military. It was an open secret.
II agree
I know about the food. I also know he hired free lance army guys, I can't think what they call them? mercenaries? Anyway Halliburton hired them to protect different contractors.
@BettyColeman There were a lot of guys who became contractors after their tours because you could make a lot more money. Definitely another way of fleecing the government.
@JohnnyThorazine all war does is kill great people and destroy whole countries ability to replace the damage from all the bombs, get their country working good again. I think all wars are fought purely for economic reasons, with excuses like religions, racism, and money. That is why we need to keep religious belief systems out of politics.
