Often the president of the ruling political party is more powerful than the head of state (President). **Currently, all EVMs (Electronic Voting Machines) are manipulated by the ruling party and the media is controlled to show favorable exit polls to show the the ruling party is winning. That's is exactly what happens although there is a massive dissatisfaction among voters about the high inflation, slow economy, unemployment, communal violence, religious hatred, police atrocities, corruption and as always massive nation looting.
