That’s what you get when your major cities allow people to shit on the sidewalk.
@creative51 I wasn’t born in California, but those living in California or Atlanta will understand. Shit on the sidewalk doesn’t lie.
@CourtJester If you're looking, you can find shit on the sidewalk anywhere.
@KKGator not actual human shit you won’t.
@CourtJester You are incorrect.
@KKGator That’s a democrat city leadership gift.
@CourtJester It has nothing to do with politics. Nothing at all.
Believing that it does is just one more thing which makes it next to impossible to prevent.
@KKGator why is it allowed in democrat cities and people are arrested for it in not democrat cities then?
@CourtJester What do you mean "allowed"?
It's not allowed anywhere, and the rest of your comment is absolute nonsense.
I think it’s a wonderful place to live if you can afford it.
There was an article in our paper on this issue. A lot of people were complaining California might lose a congressional seat. However, a former governor reminded people population growth is not always desirable inevitable. and definitely sustainable. There are limits to everything and at least Californians realize when it's time to go.
I really enjoyed the times I've visited California. For a while, I seriously considered settling in the northern part of the state.
I don't engage in California hate.
I save that for Texas. Worst place I have ever lived.
Fuck Texas!
@JeffMurray yeah that affordable housing there really sucks.
I've always thought SD and SF looked like nice places to live. Not LA tho. Definitely not LA.
I visited California once. I have absolutely no desire to go back.
With the cost of vacationing in the US vs an all-inclusive in Jamaica, I may never vacation here again. The only thing that would change that is if I was with someone that wanted to eat their way through New Orleans; that wouldn't take much arm twisting to get me on board.
... But it is still priced out of reason for me.
If CA is priced out of reason, the free market has failed. CA’s taxpayers treat veterans well enough that CA is within my means. Is CA within your means?
@yvilletom That's a really good point. I try to make that same point when people claim certain Magic cards are "too expensive" or "NEED a reprint". They sell for what people are willing to pay for them. Just because you think they're too expensive doesn't really mean anything.
