What books about atheism/agnosticism are your favorites (If any)? Why?
Bill Maher’s “Religulous”. I am currently reading “God, no” by Penn Jillette.
Never read that one. But I do like Jillette.
Nailed by David Fitzgerald, The Moral Landscape by Sam Harris, The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins. It's important for me to believe what I believe for good reasons and I think all three books serve as a strong foundation to that end.
I couldn't agree with you more
God is Not Great - Hitchens, The God Delusion - Dawkins, Hell No! - Penn Gillette, The End of Faith - Harris, Drunk with Blood: God's Killings in the Bible - Wells
Just off the top of my head.
These are/were favorites because I was able to find audio versions on youtube, I found them accessible and listening to them made more sense than anything I had ever heard about religion in my entire life. I finally felt like the world was starting to make sense.
Why I Am Not a Christian, Bertrand Russell
