All of the above and it started with Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny and went up-hill from there! Why is this society base on 'fake-news'?? Now we've got a POTUS trying feed us nothing but lies and expects us believe it. Keep the thinkers growing and maybe we can see our way out of this mess some day.
Really really great list. Love when people have their code well structured. Brava!
I am with you on almost all. I do believe in government, as there is no other way for such large populations to coexist amiably. I do nto believe that government is alwasy right, and I do believe tha tgovernment is easily corrupted... but liek I said how else cna so many people live together in peace without it?
Wow I hope this was gradual, over time as that is alot of change. I am interested, did you develop animosity towards those that taught you these values.
Gradual over 10 years since I left the church. I have no animosity toward those who disagree with these views.
My post was inspired by John’s great words:
God is a concept
By which we measure
Our pain
I'll say it again
God is a concept
By which we measure
Our pain

I don't even know if Jesus ever existed.
Me either. Certainly not the one as told in the gospels.
Not only that... Ask yourself if it’s even POSSIBLE such a man could exist - son of god, born of a virgin, perfect, resurrected, miracles, flying off into the sky WITH resurrected followers (!!!)... Does that REALLY make sense, as being a REAL person?!? . Sure, there was A GUY named jeezus... MANY of them!
Don’t believe in government?
No Gods, no masters!
My utopia would be self-rule, but as much of an idealist as I am, I have to be realistic. We have to evolve more before we can get to that point.
@EX-Faith a government to keep law and order is pretty important. Doesn’t mean it has to be an authoritarian government. Pretty sure human beings will never change enough that government will become unnecessary
