What is god like technology? Do we have a god to measure technology against?

Hi there. I think by god-like technology, Wilson means its absoluteness, like God is absolute for believers.

@Ryo1 So what is god like technology?

@xenoview We'll have to read Wilson's book to find more about what he means by god-like technology.

@Ryo1 Does that make CPR god like?

@xenoview Read his book.

@Ryo1 I don't need to read a book written by a human. You dodge my questions when asked for a god like technology to compare against human technology.

@xenoview Jeez, man, stop playing dumb. What makes you think that I'm responsible for what Wilson says in the video? It is Wilson who came up with the term "God-like technology". You will have to read his book if you want to find out what he means by it.

@Ryo1 I'm not playing dumb, you are playing dumb. I ask you for what god like technology we have to compare to human technology. So what do you have that we can compare?

Very true. Total system ideologies ( including political, religious, economic ones) hold back the human species. They try to lock people into being total believes and unthinking adherents to the dogma. They do rob us of freedom, independent and creative thought, effective problem-solving techniques and processes. In general, conservative political, cultural and social forces try to lock us into an idealized, but untrue "glorious past."

Could Human Nature be our own Hedonism?
If it looks good, feels good, sounds good, smells good, tastes good, we are tempted to buy it. Think of all the money that Humans spend on the above!
