How did you do with the heat in Washington? I ended up in the ER and now I want sympathy!
@PondartIncbendog Oh no! Hope you're doing better now that it has cooled down. I just arrived last night and my son picked me up. It's cooled down pretty well where he lives now, so I'm quite comfortable running errands and doing chores for him while he works.
I really feel for the Pac NW. You aren't used to this at all.

No one I know has air conditioning.
Welcome to Missouri! Oh, but then you'd have to also deal with 80% or more humidity at the same time as the heat.....

I just had a bowl of ice cubes for dinner.
@PondartIncbendog from the sounds of things, you drank the last part of it. That heat would melt anything quickly.
