Global warming is here to stay, and it is not going anywhere but everywhere. We are in mortal danger on several fronts, and for years I have been writing about it on other sites where 75% to 90% of the votes are down, calling it a "hoax." Sound familiar? Or a "witch hunt." Or fake news."
For millennium's men have spent billions on weaponry and not humanity, and now we see the results of this folly, a world in chaos from manufactured stupidity. We all play a part; just being born adds another two footprints in a long slow march to our potential destruction.
I have written for over ten years billions may die and been called everything in the book, including quotes from the Bible, the world's Crock Book for the perpetually morbidly stupid.
In 20 on Ted Talks, Bill Gates showed the world a picture of the Corona virus and warned of impending doom from a virus. What did humankind do? We built more bombs and elected a psychopath to run the country. Only one problem, Trump ran it into the ground and helped 600,00 Americans.
I wrote this statement ten years ago and published and printed it in a book it sold 30,000 copies in stores.
"Better to be on your hands and knees planting food for your neighbor than praying to a stone God that will not feed you."

I have a tough time believing any of this stuff.
When I was a kid there was the fear of global freezing because of damage to the ozone layer from aerosol cans, cow farts, cars, and the space shuttle launches. Now it’s global warming because of aerosol cans, cow farts, and space shuttle launches.
Since I was 15 years old, the polar ice caps were going to be completely melted away by 1998, then 2000, then 2005, then 2008, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2018, 2020, and the last prediction I have heard has been 2025 and 2028.
For ever scientists that says it’s going to happen, there is another that says that it’s not or at the most we may see a 2 to 3 degree rise over maybe 100 years that we can not change anyway as it is due to solar cycles anyway. And it also isn’t going to amount to much.
More taxes, regulations, and government controls darn sure won’t help anything.

I am sorry to say that a lot of it is part of the American cult of perpetual childhood, and the belief that you can have whatever you want, without any consequences or responsibilities. And that it is perfectly acceptable for grown adults to throw tantrums, as we saw with the Capitol invasion. The problem being, that if you build a culture, both political, religious and commercial entirely on selling, no one is going to try and sell consequences or responsibilities, they don't make money or earn votes. And so people get so used to living without them, and being told there are none, that they really start to believe they there are no consequences or responsibilities with anything.
I do not like to be critical of other cultures, especially on a US site, and have to admit that America is not alone in this, we have a lot of it in the rest of the world, it is just that you seem to be the worlds leader in synthetic childishness.

It's a matter of living in denial. We have gotten away with it so long, we really believe our own BS. The problem with any kind of denial, as I am sure you are aware, is that everything is just fine...until it isn't. I don't want to see three our of four humans fleeing unsurvivable temperatures, but it could happen far sooner than we expect.
The Gulf of Mexico caught on fire.
Electric cars are burning up.
Western North America is in drought with lethal heat waves. Last year Siberia burned like Australia burned.
There’s a definite crisis striking the planet.
It’s extreme and all current symptoms are just foreshadowing. We made it like this, but it may already be to late.
My new neighbor, Sylvie says not to worry about it.
