It's been long obvious to anyone with intellectual honesty that to capitalists and rich people, the lives of peasants who are killed or chewed up and spit out in the pursuit of profits, don't count for squat. Capitalism is war, conducted by other means than conventional war, against everyone but the rich. And their side has been completely winning for several decades now, while the bodies of peasants pile up by the millions. The war has cost none of the lives of the rich, as none of them have been executed in a revolution, like there was in France long ago.

The commentator is naive, as the capitalist has no real incentive to provide adequate food or health care to their workers, who can be easily replaced with other easily exploited workers, They are no better or different than machines to the capitalist, just replace them as soon as they age or wear out.
