. After seeing ImTirdeofthis@'s post yesterday, I was embarrassed for the site to see such ignorance displayed. Typical conservative, white privilege, male BS.

She's not a coward, very brave and faced unbelievable pressure

She has a right to protect herself from any injury which she senses could happen. She has struggled and achieved enough in her life to be afforded consideration from the American public. Criticism of her is pig-headed.

Yeah, I might be just another dipshit, but I LOVE our gymnasts, and I totally understand and support Simone's right (and even responsibility) to remove herself from any competition that would be detrimental to her health and future well-being.

Bravo.
