Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.The early Spanish records always have to be questionable, not only did they have little reason and little time to worry about accuracy when making records of what took place before their arrival, but they may well have had good propaganda reasons to falsify many things.

I always wondered if it was at a lower elevation when initially settled, it’s hard to imagine doing stone work at its present altitude.
Those mountains are growing.
I know Simi-Valley went up in altitude like two inches between 1994-1995.
