I've bitten PLENTY of people and while two did end up dying, none were by the Black Death... sheesh!

@MsKathleen - LOL, any puncture wound is equally dangerous. But, as a cat, I tend to stay out of kicking range. One of the fear reasons we attack. Cat abuse is real; reference: the Dark Ages.

The reason I don't have a cat can be summed up in two words, litter box.

#2 on MY list.

It is much better than following a dog around and picking up the shit in a plastic bag.

Feel free to go ahead without me. I love dogs. But currently do not want any responsibility for a pet. My opinion has nothing to do with yours.

The little darlings can mess you up if the bites aren't treated. I had a feral kitten latch on to my hand once when I spooked him trying to catch him...had to get a antibiotic shot...my fault...I should have known better...he is now king of the house along with his brother...wouldnt trade him for anything...we walk the dog twice every night and the two cats accompany us...😻

Most people realize that they are animals and do not have the same mental or social rules that we adhere too!!

My cats live inside at night and roam during the day!!!

They come when I call, they know when I do not feel well!!!

They always seem to know not to tear things up or cause any damage!!!

Their personalities are starkly different yet treat me and each other with respect!!!

Of course everyone’s experiences vary even with the same cat or dog!!!

One man’s or women’s pleasures are not the same as others!!!

I don't want anything I have to feed, clean up after, take care of ... animal, vegetable or mineral.

That is why a lot of women our age don’t want to marry, ya know?

I have always been a cat lover, and have been bitten more than a few times. When I am bitten, I wash the wound out quickly and apply iodine quickly and liberally. Have never had a serious infection from a bite.

All of this is true!!

The reality is far far from happening to you!

With three feral cats that have adopted me, yes I have been scratch and bitten!

Never deep or harmful, I always wash and treat the wound or bite with peroxide.

I feed two neighbors cats that come over for breakfast and stay over when it is too cold or too hot out!!

I have found people to be a lot more dangerous!!!

Cats are animals and their personalities vary to us and to each other!!!

There are lots and lots of videos on how to handle feral, indoor, and out door cats!

A bit of caution is always necessary when dealing with any living creature!!!

I think you owned a Chain of Pet Stores? It is good copy. Me. Water. Plants. That is enough work already. I know many people get lots of joy for them and if it makes them happy, ok. But they kill lots of birds, and we need those more than cats.

I'd rather live with a snake than a cat. I'd live with Donald Trump before owning a cat. I am 100% allergic to cats. My family never owned a cat. I won't date a woman who owns a cat, but I have in the past. I can't go over to their place. She could be my dream-girl but the cat is Verboten. And, boats and cats don't mix. My friend almost lost his arm to his stupid cats from a bite as he neglected the bite and his arm and hand were twice the size.

I dated a woman who was allergic to cats. She seemed to think I'd give up my cat for her. We didn't communicate very well. It didn't last, but my cat is doing fine
