It's currently 75º this evening, but it was 82º earlier this afternoon here on Kauai. For me on my Mac Book Pro, I just used the "option" key with the zero to get the degree sign. I took a guess since that's how I make accents appear over letters, such as "é" like in fianceé and the names of many of my French clients. Holding down the zero key simply make a row of zeros.

I don't have a degree option on my Android phone.
@MsKathleen not if I use the meme instruction.
It is cooled off too 86 ⁰ here tonight.
You can install Gboard on your Android from the past store. You'll be glad you did. [techrepublic.com]
It doesn't work on Microsoft Word. I got:

⁰ It's not the "O" key when on a Google keyboard. It's the zero key.
The meme does say "zero" key.
THAT is a small zero. THIS is a degree: °
@JeffMurray Google keyboard 0 on long press results in ⁰, ⁿ or ∅.
@FrayedBear Mine is only ⁰ and ⁿ.
@JeffMurray censorship? Are you using international english?
@FrayedBear I think English US.
@JeffMurray that may explain it.
@FrayedBear @JeffMurray
My Google keyboard uses English English.
Here are all my options on the "O" key, as opposed to the nought (zero in American) key.
9ÓÔÖÒŒØŌÕ
@Petter I don't know why this is still happening or how the [letter O] options became a part of this, but I some different options than you including Ő [
@Petter, @JeffMurray
Numeric 0 = 0, ∅, ⁿ, ⁰
Lowercase o = o, then on long touch select from õōœøòöô{ó
Uppercase O = O, then on long touch select from ÕŌŒØÒÖÔ{Ó

Seems not on UK keyboards
Hmm it's a tiny zero for me.9⁰
It definitely looks like you're using the zero keys so I'm at a loss wh your keyboard would be different than mine.
@Lorajay UK Keyboards have a different layout to US keyboards, so possibly have different functions too.
Use your Android device & Google virtual keyboard.
@FrayedBear
My what?
@LenHazell53 I think he means Google's "on screen" keyboard, but prefers a fancy name.

@LenHazell53 Are you not using the working man's smartphone Len?
@FrayedBear MY Mobile phone is about 20 odd years old, does not connect to the internet and doubles only as an mp3 player.
It works as a phone and that's all that matters to me.
@LenHazell53 Our 20 year old phones were deliberately disconnected. The old WWII CDMA system Range up to 40 miles from tower. Clear as a bell.
