Lol, a co-worker and I were engaged in conversation about dating and I dropped the “A” word, agnostic. After his initial Christian inspired shock he asked me to reconsider if I wanted to find someone because “A belief in a higher being than themselves helps men keep their ego in check so that they can be better people and thus treat women better and with more respect, thus help you find a good guy.” Long story short uughhh.

My sister asked if I have any final plans. Off the top of my head I told her that in my obituary there should be no "Fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church," or "Baptized into the hope of Christ's ressurection," but Acceeded to the final secret. . ."

I wish I'd known. I'd have gladly started that conversation, created a brawl, and then walked away laughing. Yes, I enjoy stirring up shite every once in awhile.?

It would have great to have been asked about being an atheist, love their dumbfounded faces when the realize yes you can be successful with out the help of false idols. Nope, just work questions all day, bummer.

I dunno it's always the same dickish questions like: how do you not murder people without god? Theists are so damn repetitive.

As much as I enjoy teaching thesits (in this case) "Nomack" how flawed their reasoning is, It really would be nice to have a place free of those who base their life on supersistions. I get enough face to face time with supersistious people in the not online world.

I've been asking people "since when has everything had a bloody special day for it DAY, not been held on the same day as Ask an Athiest"!!!!

Why would you not allow a child to believe that there is a god. Because belief's that were led from up bringing only make you wonder and find your truths as false and everyone around you thinks you MUST believe in a god. Count the kind generous people who do not believe in god, then count the fake and unreal people who believe in god and go through life with double standards and contradictions of the way our lives should be led....
