This to my mind, raises two questions
1 What has happed in the USA to make a significant minority of people SO insanely mistrustful of their own government.
and
2 How fucking shit is the American educational system that enough people are willing to give this utter bullshit enough credence for it to have become a problem.
I'm tempted to say, just let the arseholes chow down on horse wormer and fish tank bleach to their hearts content it just call it mass suicide.

Starting with Reagan the Republicans have been selling the idea the government can not be trusted, even though they make up half of the government, give or take a little at different times. Our educational system changed because of this idea of the passing of a national testing standard to get funding. We no longer teach civics classes and our history books have always been a joke. I am sure there are other things wrong with our educational system, but l am not close enough to the problem to know what they are. There are teachers on this sight who have more insight than l do.
